History of NPZ
No Plateau Zone (NPZ) was founded in 2021 during the COVID-19 pandemic, a time when isolation, anxiety, and depression were affecting millions of people. The organization was created from a simple belief: fitness, nutrition, and motivational coaching could intercept and become powerful tools for improving mental wellness.
NPZ has since evolved and become a community wellness organization dedicated to helping individuals build healthier lives through movement, meaningful relationships, and personal growth. We believe that lasting change doesn't happen overnight - it begins with consistent momentum.
What We Do & Community Impact
Through our Momentum Series (formerly known as our Mental Relief Series), our newly launched NPZ Endurance Club, educational workshops, and community partnerships, we create opportunities for people of all backgrounds and fitness levels to improve their physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
Since 2022, NPZ has hosted seasonal wellness events throughout the DMV Metropolitan area while supporting local mental health organizations through charitable giving. As our community continues to grow, we remain committed to making wellness more accessible through education, service, and meaningful connection.

Why people believe in us
"Working with Brandon was a holistically great experience. Training with him helped me focus not only on physical strength and injury prevention, but also working on overall well-being body and mind. He is a pleasure to work with because he combines a challenging workout with positive energy."
Kwame Musaka,
Washington D.C.
“Brandon coached me in the gym for several months and helped get me started with total body gym routines. He always pushed me to perform the best that I could and made me look forward to my workout. Thank you Brandon for giving me a strong base of physical fitness experience to have the confidence and excitement I need to maintain healthy exercise habits going forward.”
Louis Glazer,
Washington D.C.
“After 14 long months of working from home because of the pandemic and just nine sessions with Brandon, I realized that it takes longer to look better than it does to feel better and that, in my particular case, it is more important to feel better.
Initially, I thought hour-long sessions with Brandon would make up for the weekday steps to the metro and stairs at the office that I was missing. While Brandon showed me what to do and how to do it, he also helped me prove to myself that I can be active without a built in commute.
Now, I walk, bike, and even work my core area from home, and I don't think I look much better, but I know I feel much better - more energy, more confidence, more enthusiasm. And of course, more fruits and vegetables.”
Kevin Hogan,
Washington D.C.
"Healthy eating plus regular workouts with Brandon helped me lose over 65 pounds within 9 months. His workouts are tough but fun, and varied enough that I was always challenging myself and never bored. I look better, I feel less stressed, I'm stronger, I get better sleep at night, and all-around changed my life with regular exercise as a part of my life."
Matthew Yglesias,
Washington D.C.
"I have loved working out with Brandon the last few months. He's gotten me excited about working out for the first time in years! I feel stronger, healthier and more confident and our workouts are fun! Brandon is also just a very nice, considerate and respectful guy. Highly recommend."

"Brandon is a fantastic trainer. He has a great ability to motivate. Every time I feel like I can not do no more he has been able to push me. He has also helped me with my anxiety due to how good I feel after each workout. He makes me feel like I really achieved something with our workouts."
